In this lesson you are going to learn how to ask and tell the time in Italian…you may think it’s hard but it’s not! :) Just watch it again and again until you memorize it :D . Oh be careful at “è” and “e”, they have the same sound but the first one is the third singular person of the verb “essere”, the second one is the conjuction “and”. A special thanks to Ella, alias Erla (no other information avaiable xD) who helped me in that phone conversation (she’s got a very MAMMAMIA! Italian accent even if she’s not italian :P ) If you have any questions you can send me a message or contact me on skype! Enjoy watching ;-) !

Now that you know how to conjugate the verbs of the first conjugation or verbs in “-are”, you are ready to study the verbs of the second conjugation, verbs in “-ere”. Most of them are irregulars, so be careful when you listen to the conjugation =). I also talked about the conjugation of “to can, must, want”, but i haven’t explained how to use these verbs. We will see it in future lessons =). If you have any questions you can send me a message or contact me on skype. Enjoy watching =D!

Like other italian words gender is important. You’d tell a female “stai zitta”. You’d tell more than one person “state Zitti” My grandmother grew up in a house with a mother from Abruzzo and a father from Napoli – their family insisted on speaking english in the house. However she did pick up many words, one of which was her dialect saying “shut up”. She’d say “state zitt” (english phonetically would be stut-uh zeet). — Thanks for watching — Remember, mean comments will not be approved, so don’t waste your time. On second thought, I do find them kind of funny in a sad and pathetic way, so go ahead if you feel like it, thing is I’ll just click delete and block you afterward. The choice is yours. After verbs in -are and -ere here we go with verbs in -ire. They almost have the same endings with the ones in -ere even if you will see that most of verbs of the third conjugation add an -isc- suffix… it’s easy though =P. In the next lessons we will focus more on Italian sentences and expressions ;) . If you have any questions you can send me a message or contact me on skype (even if from 03-30-2009 to 04-05-2009 i’ll go off to Greece I’ll try to answer your questions as fast as i can). Enjoy watching =D!
